Calanque d'En-vau

Calanque d'En-vau is a stunning beach located in the region of Pyrénées. It is known for its clear water where one can see fish swimming below. The beach is surrounded by a scenic landscape, making it a popular spot for hiking. However, the last part of the descent to the beach can be challenging, especially for beginners or those not wearing proper hiking shoes. Despite the challenging terrain, the beach is accessible via two routes - a longer scenic route and a shorter route.

The beach tends to get crowded, especially after 10 am, so it is recommended to arrive early. Visitors are advised to bring enough water and food for their stay. The beach is also known for its cleanliness, and visitors are encouraged to take any rubbish with them to maintain its pristine condition. However, visitors with children should be cautious as the beach can be crowded and there have been reports of jellyfish in the area.
